The African Federation of Sign Language Interpreters (AFSLI) is a Pan-African organization focused on promoting the profession of sign language interpretation. We empower interpreters by connecting them with training, policy development, and community engagement opportunities that prioritize the Deaf community’s needs and cultural context.AFSLI serves as a collaborative hub for national associations, helping to unify interpreters across linguistic, cultural, and national borders.The Rwanda National Union of Sign Language Interpreters (RNSLI) is Rwanda’s official body advocating for interpreter recognition, ethical practice, and accessibility nationwide. It supports community inclusion by building capacity among sign language interpreters while working closely with Deaf associations and stakeholders.As the host of AFSLI 2025, RNSLI is committed to delivering a world-class experience for delegates and participants.
